America's fascination with ANS has always been tragic; first we loved and hated her because she was a brainless bimbo who epitomized that unrealistic looks = success, then we scandalized her for marrying a billionaire who already had one foot in the grave, then we adored her for ruining her body and mind with drugs for our weekly entertainment, now we're slavering over her toxicology report and the torrid details of her baby's paternity.

Gah. Whatever all this attention mongering says about ANS, it says far worse things about our society's hunger for tabloid "news."

I don't think the spotlight's on her currently because she's a dead woman; I think her death is just the latest (but not last!) chapter in the morbid highway pileup that was her life, and that America hasn't been able to turn away from for a decade.

I'm stunned at the life addiction takes on. Even when it has killed a person it rambles on and on zapping and draining everything in it's path.

Dr. D, Finally something superficial or at least back to basics, or a simple post. (or something I don't have to study to form an opinion) Dead women do seem to draw interest. There is a 24/7 guard at the cemetery, is that because of the buried tiara or because pictures of the body would be saleable? I am wondering "what if" son Daniel is the father of Danielynne? To me it is sad what the apparent abuse of drugs did to this woman, female person, who is now dead and in the public eye. My tabloid developed opinion is that Howard Stern (s) (both of them) are sleaze bags

"ACCIDENTAL DRUG OVERDOSE"

OK, a bunch of doctors prescribed a cocktail of drugs. A boy friend, body guard and a nurse, aided this "accident," over a long period of time. Seems to me, there should be some culpability here.

A case can be made that there is no such thing as a real "accident." "Things" happen, when really investigated there are causal factors. Common "accidents" happen in traffic. When investigated, someone or something was at fault. The something would be mechanical failure, otherwise a human was responsible, no such thing as divine intervention. If the street was slick, the human error was not paying attention to conditions. Back to the dead woman, what was the accident of overdose? A drug overdose would be ingesting or injecting too much or too many drugs. How is that an "accident?"
